Episode 1 - Okanagan Mountain PArk

This episode features Okanagan based film maker and photographers Dave Mai & Caillum Smith as they go on their annual boat access Okanagan Mountain Park camping, fishing and hiking trip. Embarking just as the sun rises, they jump on Dave’s boat “Kraken Skulls”, and troll for fish on their way to the lakeside access camping at Okanagan Mtn Provincial Park. They reminisce about past visits and explore the endless hiking trails and play a round of mini golf on Rattle Snake island, an iconic Okanagan abandoned “amusement” park. At night the duo engage in an astrophotography session and reflect on the beauty of the Okanagan.


Episode 2 - Rock CLIMBINg at the Skaha Bluffs

Penticton is a world class climbing destination. With over 1000 climbs in the park and the best shoulder season climbing conditions, it attracts climbers internationally. This episode, film maker and photographer, Dave Mai shares the origin story of the Skaha Bluffs along with local climbing legend Howie Richardson, Russ Turner, and Rolf Ryback. Dave reflects on all the years he’s spent photographing the area and gives the viewers a look behind the scenes of all the work that goes on at a climbing photo shoot.


Episode 3 - Penticton Mountain biking


"Adventure Valley" immerses viewers in the vibrant mountain biking community of Penticton, BC. From thrilling downhill rides to scenic cross-country routes, the episode showcases the diversity of trails for all skill levels. It highlights the integral role of trail building and ambassadorship, with volunteers shaping trails and riders fostering inclusivity. Through interviews and stunning visuals, the episode captures the unity and adventure that define Penticton as a premier mountain biking destination, inspiring viewers to join the tight-knit community and explore the trails themselves.


Episode 4 - Sockeye Fishing on Osoyoos Lake

This episode features the indigenous tribes of the Pacific Northwest as they unite to bring back their traditional main food source, the salmon. By reversing the damaging effects of colonization, hydro electric dams, and modern living, they reconnect with their traditional ways, and use modern science and a holistic mindset to allow the salmon to reclaim their original habitats in the Okangan and Upper Columbia River.


Episode 5 - TRESTLES and train Tunnels

Featuring the Newley restored Adra Tunnel above Naramata BC, this episode embarks on an exploration of the Okanagan Trestles on the KVR Trail. Experience the thrill of cycling above the valley floor with picturesque landscapes, including lush forests, vineyards, and stunning views of the Okanagan Valley as the cyclist crossing several magnificent trestle bridges. Hear about the history of the decommissioned rail trail from some of the original and currents leaders of our community that have been working on its restoration since the 60’s.


Episode 5 - Okanagan Ice Climbing

Off the beaten path and rarely witnessed, a group of intrepid ice climbers brave the subzero temperatures to seek out and climb rarely frozen ice formations in the Okanagan Valley.
